SafeCREW’s survey on practices in EU water utilities shall give us information about the present practices and needs of water utilities.
We would like to gather insights about the current situation and expectations for the future of climate resilient drinking water management in water utilities. The results shall support SafeCREW in developing tools and guidelines for disinfected and non-disinfected drinking water supply systems which are useful for the daily work of water utilities.
The survey will be open until 30 June 2024 and takes about five minutes to complete.

SafeCREW survey: Is drinking water supply in Europe resilient to climate change? The following survey on practices in EU water utilities stands in context with the EU funded SafeCREW project. It shall give us information about the present practices and needs of water utilities. The SafeCREW project deals with the question on how to maintain the high drinking water quality in Europe under climate change conditions. The expected impacts like rising water temperature, higher levels of natural organic matter and possible microbial loads will challenge drinking water supply systems both with and without disinfection. In the project, we focus on relevance of disinfection by-products, innovative water quality monitoring methods, possible tipping points (in case of non-disinfection) and comprehensive risk management. More information on the project can be found under https://safecrew.org/ as well as LinkedIn and X. The outcomes of the project are tools and guidelines for drinking water supply utilities under climate change conditions. We are planning activities for water professionals in English, but also local languages (Spanish, Italian, German). The survey takes about 5 min to complete. Thank you for supporting us. |
