How we care
We are not interested in collecting data of our visitors. It is not possible to leave comments on the site, so we do not collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. We have deactivated this feature. Maybe by mistake it could happen that a comment form is available. Please don’t use it and inform us about this mistake.
Matomo Tracking
This page uses Matomo, that offers “Ethical Stats” for us to know more about the visits on our page. We have to write reports and we need some statistics to do so. We respect your privacy and we use all possibilities to reduce the amount of data. We do not collect personal data such as IP address and we delete the data frequently after 6 months. Cookies
No cookies are used unless you use the backend:
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
No embedded content from other websites
Our editors are aware that their articles on this site may not include embedded content from other sources than safecrew.org (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.).
Newsletter
We offer the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. To do this, we need an e-mail address to which the newsletter can be sent. Subscription to the newsletter is exclusively at your express request and can be cancelled immediately by simply clicking on “unsubscribe”. The e-mail addresses are used exclusively for the purpose of delivering our newsletter and after cancellation via “unsubscribe” the address is automatically deleted.
