WASSER 2025 is an important German conference that brings together professionals from water chemistry, water treatment, and related fields to share recent developments and exchange ideas.

At this year’s conference, the SafeCREW project was represented by three team members David Langenbach, Maolida Nihemaiti, and Jon Wullenweber who delivered three presentations covering important aspects of the project’s research. These included talks on the occurrence of novel sulfonated disinfection by-products (Task 1.2), membrane processes to minimise DBP formation potential (Task 2.2), and materials in contact with disinfected waters (Task 1.6).
The presentations provided an opportunity for SafeCREW to share recent findings and connect with peers.
