Last week several SAFECREW researchers from POLIMI and EURECAT participated at the 6th IWA International Conference on eco-Technologies for Wastewater Treatment (ecoSTP-23) congress. Laura Vinardell, from Eurecat Manresa, presented the poster “Synergistic cytotoxicity of specific combination of water disinfection by-products assessed by bacterial reverse mutation tests”.
Girona (Catalonia, Spain) hosted ecoSTP-23 from 26 to 29 June 2023, an event to discuss the latest technologies to water reuse and resource recovery, at urban and industrial scale. ecoSTP-23 gives special attention to the efficient transfer of knowledge into practice regarding multiple factors that currently frame water management.
Closing knowledge gaps about disinfection and disinfection by-products and sharing the novel results to improve practical water mangement is the intention of SafeCREW, thus this conference has been the right place to be for the project partners.
