Jon Wullenweber, PhD candidate at DVGW research centre at TUHH, presented his current research on 12 June 2023 at the first Workshop of TUHH Research Cluster “Biobased Processes and Reactor Technologies”. The poster displays research results on “Chlorine based disinfection byproduct (DBP) precursors removal during drinking water treatment”. During the poster sessions, the poster stimulated intense talks and exchange regarding novel electro-sorptive adsorption technologies which offer high potential for the removal of natural organic matter (NOM). NOM are known to act as DBP precursors.
At the end of the workshop, Jon’s poster and presentation won the “Poster Award 2023” of TUHH Research Cluster “Biobased Processes and Reactor Technologies” for
“the exceptional presentation of research project” […] “for the contribution “Chlorine based disinfection byproduct (DBP) precursors removal during drinking water treatment””
The SafeCREW team congratulates Jon for this achievement and looks forward to the future outcomes of his research.
